Synopsis

“Just A Friend” is a short film that revolves around the seemingly perfect housewarming party thrown by a devoted couple, Chris and Layla. The couple is excitedly celebrating their new home and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. However, the atmosphere takes an unexpected turn when Chris’ childhood best friend, Janae, arrives.

As the night progresses, it becomes evident that Janae’s flirtatious behavior goes beyond the boundaries of friendship, causing tension between Chris and Layla. The film explores the dynamics of trust, loyalty, and the fragility of relationships when faced with unexpected challenges.
